2007_Brian

2007_Brian_60 X 60
I embroidered these cows to match the fabric Brian gave me one year for Christmas, but now Wanda has the quilt.

2007_Anthony

2007_Anthony_74 X 96
I made Anthony's 18th birthday quilt from a kit. The numerous small pieces in this design took a very long time to sew together and to quilt.

2006-Lent

2006-Lent 13 X 16
I digitized a church bulletin to embroidery the center of this mini quilt.

2006-Grand Angels

2006-Grand Angels 35 X 40
Notice that the face of each of these angels is a grandchild, Jaron, Georgia Rae, Johnathan, and Anthony.

2006-Friendships 13 X 21
I had to make a little quilt out of this embroidery design.

2006-Cup of Tea

2006-Cup of Tea 22 X 24
Since I didn't have any fancy handkerchiefs, I embroidered some batiste to incorporate into this little quilt.

2006-Cardtrick

2006-Cardtrick 33 X 33
This card-trick quilt consists of four identical blocks rotated to form the design.

2006-Candles Table Runner2006-Candles Table Runner 13 X 56

2006-Candles Table Runner 13 X 56
This table runner turned out to be a very complicated design to make.

2006_Wanda

2006_Wanda
Wanda designed this quilt to accent her collection of antique handkerchiefs and I made it for her master bedroom.

2006_Sam & Carol's Quilt

2006_Sam & Carol's Quilt 58 X 58
I embroidered a series of shoes and purses for Sam and Carol's Christmas present.

2006_Juliana & Rick's Quilt

2006_Juliana & Rick's Quilt 48 X 60
Juliana likes snowmen, so I embroidered different snowmen in the center blocks to form this quilt for their Christmas present.

2006_Arden & John's Quilt

2006_Arden & John's Quilt 48 X 54
Since Arden had an extensive collection of miniature shoe figurines, I paper pieced these shoes with embroidered shoes in each of the cornerstones.

2005-Fish

2005-Fish 36 X 36
I made this school of fish from very small pieces of fabric.

2005 River Road

Each of these River Road Church, Baptist mini quilts is
11 X 15. I love giving these as gifts to members of the church.

2005-Butterflies

2005-Butterflies 22 X 32
Since I liked this unusual quilt design, I decided to make it with some butterfly fabric I had been keeping for a long time.

2005-Angel

2005-Angel 32 X 33

I had to show off some fancy Christmas fabrics with this applique.

2005 Jaron's Quilt

This is another full sized quilt I made for Jaron from Christmas fabrics.

2004-RRCB Bulletins 30 X 36
This wall hanging was made from digitized copies of River Road Church, Baptist bulletins.

2004-Purses 36 X 36

2004-Pink Heart

2004-Pink Heart 12 X 12
This little quilt was made to demonstrate machine applique and quilting techniques for my classes.

2004-Blackstone

2004-Blackstone 12 X 14

I digitized and constructed this little quilt for a friend in one of my students in an embroidery software class.

2004_RQG

2004_RQG 43 X 54
When I finished my two years as president of the Hospitality Chapter of the Richmond Quilters' Guild, the members gave me a series of blocks. I made this signature quilt from those blocks.

2004_Jaron

2004_Jaron 84 X 94
One year for Christmas, Jaron gave me a packet of quilt fabrics. I made this quilt for him from those fabrics and quilted this very large quilt on the sewing machine. His name is quilted in very large letters in some of the lighter areas.

2003-Nativity

2003-Nativity 24 X 36
All these figures are individually embroidered on the background fabric to create this Nativity scene. The pattern turned out to be much more complicated that I had anticipated.

2003 Go Ye

2003 Go Ye 24 X 48
When one of my friends who had been on many mission trips moved away, I made this quilt for her.

2003-Dora & Sibs

2003-Dora & Sibs 19 X 21
This is a picture of my mother with two of her ten siblings. The picture was probably taken about 1917.

2003 Doll Collection

2003 Doll Collection
Obviously these are not quilts, but a collection of some of the cloth dolls I have made over the years. The sewing machine is like the one I sewed on until my senior year in college when I was able to buy a second-hand portable singer for $50.00. Unfortunately, this is not the one I learned on because my mama gave that one away when she bought an electric machine.

2003 Wanda

2003 Wanda  60 X 60
I made this pictorial quilt as a Christmas gift for Wanda Alice Hubbard Pleasants.
