2011-Flutes

2011-Flute-1   13 X 13
I put together this little embroidery design for a woman in our church who often plays the flute in the worship service, and I made it into a little quilt.
2011-Flute-2  13 X 13
Once I had the embroidery design created,

I couldn't make just one little quilt.

2011-Dora 33 X 38

2011-Dora 33 X 38
I made this quilt from some "Dora the Explorer" fabric that I had in my collection.

2011- Games

2011-Dinosaurs Games 48 X 60
The Dinosaurs were made from a kit which called for applique. This was Maddox's first quilt.
2011-Fish Games 47 X 53
Since I had some fabrics left over,I made this quilt with large panels of fish fabric and some left over fabric from the above kit because I made a mistake in cutting the squares.

2011-Coopers Quilt

2011-Coopers Quilt 46 X 57
I made this bear for a friend's grandson who had a drawn battle with cancer.

2011-Candy Table Runner2011-Candy Table Runner 13 X 45

2011-Candy Table Runner 13 X 45
Since I have a rather large dining room table, I adjusted this pattern to make it larger. Each of the stripes in the candy is appliqued onto a white background making the construction very time consuming. The curved binding was also challenging.

2011-Cafe Mocha

2011-Cafe Mocha 67 X 91
Although this design looks very complicated, it is actually very easy to put together.

2011-Antique Machines

2011-Antique Machines 74 X 81
After embroidering all these antique sewing machines and sewing notions, I made them into this quilt.
